Privacy policy

chr0me.au is an Australian business based in Sydney, New South Wales, trading with C1 Studio. In this policy, "we" and "us" refer to chr0me.au.

We only collect what we need to take an order and deliver it:

• Name, email address and phone number
• Shipping and billing address
• Order history and any vehicle details you give us for fitment
• Correspondence you send us, including warranty and returns requests
• Basic analytics such as pages visited, device type and approximate location

Card details are entered directly into our payment provider, Stripe, and are never stored on our systems. Stripe processes payments under its own privacy terms and PCI DSS obligations.

We use your information to process and ship orders, respond to enquiries, handle warranty claims, meet our tax and record keeping obligations, and improve the site.

If you opt in, we may send occasional emails about new parts. Every email includes an unsubscribe link.

We share information only with the providers needed to run the store: our payment provider, shipping carriers, our email platform and our website host. We do not sell your personal information.

Some providers store data outside Australia. Where that happens, we take reasonable steps to ensure comparable protection.

The site uses cookies to keep your bag between visits and to measure traffic. You can block cookies in your browser, though parts of the checkout may stop working.

Information is held on access controlled systems and kept only as long as we need it, or as long as the law requires. Financial records are kept for seven years.

You can ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it. Email privacy@chr0me.au and we will respond within 30 days.

If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.

We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always published here with the date it took effect.
